David Allen Martin II is the founder and CEO of LinguaThor and the architect behind high-performance language learning systems used by some of the world's top polyglots and educators.

"I wasn't born a polyglot. I engineered a system to become one."
Originally from San Diego, David Allen Martin II began his journey as a monolingual English speaker. Today, he is a celebrated Germanist and accent trainer who speaks German like a native and is fluent in Spanish as well as speaking Italian, French, Dutch and Mandarin Chinese to varying degrees of fluency.
His approach combines academic rigor with applied technology and 20 years of experience learning languages. With degrees from UC Berkeley (German) and the University of Göttingen (Germanic Linguistics), plus advanced German & Spanish translation studies at the University of Heidelberg, David helps learners bridge the gap between the science of language learning and the art of speaking it.
Specialist in pronunciation and accent reduction.
Pioneer in AI-driven language learning.
LinguaThor's core language learning engine. A systematic approach to decoding any language and automating grammar without rules.
Understanding the meaning first. The text is translated naturally into your native language to provide immediate context, eliminating the need for dictionaries.
Understanding the structure. Every word is translated literally to reveal the hidden syntax and logic of the target language (e.g., "I have hunger" vs "I am hungry").
Activation. You translate the text back into the target language using only the literal cues. This wires the grammar into your brain as a reflex.
David provides the technical architecture and systems for the world's leading language programs.
High-Performance Polyglot Mastery
As an essential "System Architect" and instructional designer, David helps Luca build the foundational psychological frameworks and high-accountability systems that turn language theory into real-world action. Together, they create rigorous programs that combine the Lampariello SMART System with David's software platform, LinguaThor, providing the vital technological and structural backbone needed to eliminate guesswork and accelerate fluency.
A complete system and private accountability community featuring Luca’s and David’s daily “Workout of the Day” (WOD), monthly live group coaching calls, and structured monthly challenges to eliminate guesswork and turn frustration into unstoppable momentum.
The “Anti-School” experience for learners stuck at the B1 level using David’s popular “Language Sprint” format. A 12-week high-accountability program, rather than a standard 90-day video course you watch and forget.
Features Luca’s and David’s “Top-Down Accent Rewiring System™” to help learners fix fossilized errors, build the right listening foundation, and sound clear, confident, and authentic—even if they have been stuck for years.
A live, structured 3-week roadmap featuring four live workshops designed to turn passive knowledge (“book smarts”) into confident, spoken fluency (“street smarts”) by installing a new “Speaking Operating System” in the brain.

"LinguaThor is the tool I've been waiting for—it automates the tedious parts of my translation method."
— Luca Lampariello

The French B2 Breakthrough Sprint
A partnership focused on curing the "Intermediate Plateau." Charles (Bonjour French) provides the authentic Parisian cultural immersion; David provides the pedagogical and methodological structure as well as the technical infrastructure to help students push through plateaus to the B2 level.
The flagship program. Take your French from B1 to B2 in 90 days — stop translating in your head and start speaking with confidence. Includes AI Zoom Labs, weekly live calls, and a structured 12-week roadmap.
Try the method risk-free for 30 days. Build 4 language islands and measure real progress from Day 1 — 100% of tuition credited toward the 90-Day Sprint.
The program finale. 5 days of total immersion in the Luberon with Charles & David — no-English zone, real-time conversation coaching, and cultural excursions in Provençal French.
The German AI Academy
A joint program by LinguaThor and Natural. Fluent. German. that takes B2–C1 learners to the C1 level. Flemming—native speaker, former journalist, and polyglot—brings authentic German immersion and live conversation practice. David provides the pedagogical architecture: structured AI prompts and exercises for ChatGPT and Gemini, AI-powered Tandem Spaces with detailed personalized feedback reports on grammar & pronunciation, monthly live coaching calls, and a custom 24/7 AI tutor. Over 500 learners from around the world have used it to finally break through the B2–C1 plateau.
